SHAM SUNDER KINDRA
Vijaya Sr. Sec. School is a result of the deep longing of two siblings, viz., Late Shri Krishan Lal Kindra and Shri Sham Sunder Kindra, who felt intense lack of instructive establishments in theregion. They officially commended theinauguration of the school on 30th January, 1991 yet sadly left us for good on fourth March, 1991. The individuals from Vijaya Educational Society, however felt armless, at this point pledged to make an interpretation of ‘Their’ dream into action as a sincere tribute to them.
It is a Co-educational institution and medium of teaching is English. ‘Computer’ is taught as a compulsory subject from Class first.
Initially the institution was affiliated to Board of School Education Haryana but switched to CBSE up to Secondary level with effect from 01.04.2003 and Senior Secondary level with effect from 01.04.2005. All the three streams i.e. Science (Medical & Non-Medical) Commerce & Humanities have been introduced in Sr. Sec. Department.
With effect from 01.04.2018, the nursery classes (LKG & UKG) were shifted to new premises ‘Vijaya Nursery School’ built on 0.47 acre of land at Omaxe City, Jhajjar Road, Bahadurgarh.
The society also started the construction of new premises on 6 acre of land on Jhajjar Road near DPS on 15.02.2019 with the purpose of shifting the main branch at Mohan Nagar there. The Project was completed on 31st March, 2022.
